Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an Invoice Compliance Analyst for a contract assignment with one of our premier Insurance Services clients in Urbandale, IA.

Responsibilities

• Combine technical rigor with cross-functional collaboration, auditing revenue documentation, partnering with internal teams to resolve discrepancies, and driving process improvements. Your work will have visibility across the organization, with opportunities to present findings to leadership and mentor junior colleagues along the way.

• Audit revenue documentation and reconcile client records to ensure compliance with corporate policies, carrier agreements, SOX, SSAE16, tax regulations, and US/local GAAP

• Collaborate with the internal business partners to acquire/update missing or inaccurate documentation to complete audit

• Prepare or analyze accounting reports and consolidated statements to reconcile the revenue for client records, presenting findings to client teams and senior managers as needed

• Assist in the development, implementation, and documentation of internal accounting policies and onshore/offshore team transitions; may include process improvements for revenue review and invoicing functions

• Review and guide the work of junior accountants and offshore staff

• Provide functional advice and training to colleagues and client teams as needed

• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field; an Associate's degree with relevant experience is also considered

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly for reconciliations and compliance reviews

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver quality work on time in a fast-paced, evolving environment

• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
