Who is SGA Inc.?

Software Guidance & Assistance Inc. is a certified Women’s Business Enterprise that specializes in providing technology, engineering, and business resource solutions for an established book of 75 Fortune 1,000 clients across the United States. SGA is privately-held, owner-operated, and achieves consistent, organic growth, without acquisitions. In an industry that continues to innovate and change, SGA has maintained many clients for more than ten years, and in some cases more than 30 years.   Many people ask why SGA's quality is better than the competition—aside from continuous improvement to technology and processes, it's due to an honest and dedicated in-house team.

What We Do

SGA provides expert IT personnel to solve clients' technology problems. SGA currently delivers a wide range of services from Project Delivery and Managed Services, to direct Full Time Placements, and Staff Augmentation, providing clients with the leverage to propel their business. SGA’s areas of confidence include Application Development and Architecture, Infrastructure Architecture, Development and Administration, Program Management, Project Management, and Business Analysis. SGA maintains a local presence in metropolitan areas across the United States enabling support of clients on a personal basis.

SGA History-Growth


SGA was founded in 1981 as a regional vendor in New York. In response to industry trends, SGA has grown to be a national vendor, in addition to supporting clients' offices in Canada and the United Kingdom. With a headquarters in New York, SGA maintains 11 supporting offices coast to coast, augmented by off-shore technical capabilities. Even with tremendous growth, SGA continues to build new relationships with a personal touch. SGA's passion to support all national clients with dedicated teams allows us to provide a boutique feel with the highest level of customer service.
