We carefully examine the type of projects a candidate has worked on by reviewing the companies and scope of projects. We concentrate on obtaining candidates that have Fortune 100 experience as well as large scale and global project experience.
Once a candidate demonstrates their written, technical and project experience, an interview is conducted to evaluate the individual’s communication skills. This part of the screening process allows SGA to gather additional information on the candidate’s project experience. This helps us determine whether or not the individual has the communication skills necessary to meet the demands of the business environment.
A reference background check is required and performed on each candidate. They must provide at least three supervisors for their last three projects. An unsatisfactory reference from any one of the three supervisors will disallow the candidate from being presented to our clients.
Candidates may also be required to go through a series of technical tests with SGA Senior Technical Staff Members. In addition, online certification testing may be done through Brainbench, Inc., a vendor specializing in this field.
After the SGA recruitment staff has successfully completed the steps in the qualification process and the candidate is deemed appropriate for a client’s project, the candidate’s resume is given to the SGA Account Representative for the final phase of the qualification process. Discussions take place between the account representative and the recruiter in order to ensure complete understanding of both the candidates’ expertise as well as the fit for the client’s requirements. Finally, the account representative re-interviews the candidate to answer any outstanding questions and assure the consultants interest and suitability for the project before they are presented to the client.
Prior to making a commitment to the potential client, the consultant must sign a contractual agreement with financial damages if breached. Since SGA instituted this policy, 99% of start dates with our clients have been met. These steps, along with our excellent account maintenance and overall customer service, have enabled SGA to assure our clients that they will receive a Fortune 100 level of satisfaction.
